Strode College Day Nursery

Strode College Day Nursery is situated at Strode College in Street. We provide early years education and day care for children aged from two to four years. Our team is a highly experienced qualified team, all dedicated to the care and education of the children.

A bright start for little learners

Our service is available to members of the local community as well as students studying at Strode College and Strode College staff.

Our caring and well-qualified staff encourage children to develop their personal, social and emotional skills along with communication, language and literacy, knowledge and understanding of the world, creative development, problem reasoning and numeracy and physical development.

We consider partnerships with parents to be essential. We make sure parents are well informed about the nursery routine and activities, and that they have opportunities to discuss their child’s progress with staff.

Purpose-built facilities and training

Strode College Day Nursery is fully equipped and purpose built. It features a secure outdoor play area and is a modern, bright, colourful and safe environment. Our children also benefit from using Strode College facilities including the Sports Hall, Strode Theatre, the Hairdressing Salon and garden.

We would like our children to learn, have fun, and feel safe. We work hard to help the children achieve the best possible outcomes and we do this through a great balance of learning through play, outside activities and adventures, trips around campus such as the kitchens and sports centre, singing and storytelling, and a jolly good sense of humour!
