Students achieve exceptional results!

Strode College is celebrating another year of exceptional results across A Levels, T Levels, and professional and technical qualifications, reflecting the hard work, determination, and ambition of its students.

This year, the majority of Strode students applying to university have secured their first-choice place, with many heading to prestigious Russell Group institutions. Others have progressed directly into competitive higher-level apprenticeships or skilled employment, making a positive impact in industries across the region.

A Level students have once again delivered exceptional results, achieving an impressive pass rate across all courses. High grades were achieved across a broad range of subjects, with Fine Art, French, Further Maths, Philosophy, Ethics, Religion all receiving A*-B grades above 60% with a host of other subjects including English Language, English Literature, Photography, Graphics, English Language, Film Studies receiving 50% A*-B grades.  Of all 31 options taken this year, 29 subjects received a 95% or above pass rate.  These results reflect both the talent of the learners and the consistently high-quality teaching.

Many students will now progress to leading universities, including Oxford, Aberdeen, Bath Spa, Chester, Brighton, Royal Holloway, and Falmouth, to study subjects such as Fine Art, Medicine, Music, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and History and Politics.

Our technical and professional students aren’t just gaining qualifications, they’re building the skills, confidence, and work experience that directly benefit our local community. Whether they’re training in health, early years, digital, or other sectors, they’re developing the expertise employers need right here in the region. The impact they will make – in local businesses, hospitals, schools, and beyond is something we’re incredibly proud of.
