This flexible programme offers the opportunity to be involved in planning learning activities in your workplace and complete a paediatric first aid course.

Assessment Methods

There are no written exams for the apprenticeships, instead you build a portfolio which includes coursework and practical assessments from your workplace. You may be required to sit exams for Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT if they do not already have these.

Progression Options

On successful completion of the Apprenticeship you could find permanent employment in early years settings.

Entry Requirements

You need at least five GCSEs in the 9 to 4 (A* to C) range or a relevant Level 2 qualification with a Merit or Distinction. Entry is subject to a successful interview and you are expected to have employment in a school of at least 30 hours a week and the employment needs to last the duration of the course.
