Course Overview

Discover a dynamic course where creativity and sustainability meet. You’ll explore how everyday, overlooked materials can be transformed into striking works of art through the practice of upcycling.

Through guided projects and personal experimentation, you’ll develop techniques that highlight resourcefulness, environmental awareness, and individual expression. The course encourages you to recognise potential in ordinary items, nurturing imagination and innovative thinking.

Upcycling art also supports wellbeing by fostering mindfulness, confidence, and a sense of achievement. Along the way, you’ll build valuable transferable skills – such as problem-solving, project management, and sustainable thinking – relevant to careers in the creative industries, design, education, and environmental sectors.
