Your journey to success starts now

Your journey to education shouldn’t be a hurdle. As a key college within the UCS College Group, Strode College benefits from an incredibly wide transport network covering Mendip, South Somerset, and the surrounding villages.

We know that figuring out your commute can be daunting. That’s why we’ve partnered with multiple local operators – including First Bristol Bath & the West, South West Coaches, Libra Travel, and Hatch Green Coaches – to ensure travel is accessible, affordable, and sustainable.

All bus routes used by students travelling to College are classed as public services. They run to a published timetable and are also used by members of the public.

Keep track of when and where you need to be

The vast majority of collection times for students using our bus services fall between 7.30am and 8.15am.

Students using our bus services that are travelling from the furthest points need to be ready early.

The earliest collection is from Weston-super-Mare (Station Approach) at 6.43am.

Students travelling from Bath (Bus Station) will need to be in place for 6.45am.

Those living closer to Street have much later collection times, with the latest pick-ups being at 8.35am from Butleigh (High Street Post Office) and Glastonbury (First 375 routes).
